Wolfgang Seligo - Alternative Jazz Duet:

Jazz meets ethno, classical sounds and punk.
Pianist and composer Wolfgang Seligo is very much at home in various musical styles. His duet compositions for cello and piano are influenced by jazz, rock and modern classical music with a funky and powerful sound from the piano. Rina Kaçinari is known as an energetic and charismatic performer on the cello. Her musical experiences range from classical orchestra work to intimate tango and world music settings.

Pianist and composer Wolfgang Seligo is very much at home in various musical styles. Apart from appearing in a duo or as a soloist he founded in 2004 the "Wolfgang Seligo - Alternative Jazz Quartet" with which he performs world wide. His compositions are influenced by jazz, rock and modern classical music with a funky and powerful sound from the piano. What you won't hear will be electronic sounds - the powerful rock band sound leaves a lot of free space for unique solistic parts. The music structure is clear and entertaining and appeals to a variety of age groups.
